East Bay Community Action Program Announces Staff Promotion
Long-tenured employee promoted to Director of Communications and Development

East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP) is pleased to announce the promotion of Margaret (Maggie) Laurianno, of Fall River, MA, to Director of Communications and Development. Laurianno began her career at EBCAP in 2004 as a Communications Specialist, and in 2007 fundraising and event coordination were added to her responsibilities. She was later promoted to Project Manager.
In her new role, Laurianno will work closely with EBCAP’s Leadership Team to implement new and on-going fundraising efforts, develop external and internal communications strategies, and enhance donor support and corporate engagement. Laurianno earned her B.A. in Communications at Bridgewater State University (formerly Bridgewater State College). She also volunteers for Singing Out Against Hunger, a Tiverton, RI non-profit organization that raises funds to support area food pantries.
East Bay Community Action Program is a private, non-profit 501(c) (3) corporation that provides a wide array of health and human services to resident of Rhode Island’s East Bay including the municipalities of Barrington, Bristol, East Providence, Jamestown, Little Compton, Middletown, Newport, Portsmouth, Tiverton, and Warren.
