Gusty Winds In RI Ahead Of Unsettled Weather Week

Expect a mixed bag of weather this week, with temperatures above freezing but several days of rain and clouds.

RHODE ISLAND — Expect another week of unsettled weather in Rhode Island this week, starting with gusty winds and ending with showers.

More springlike weather is in the forecast for Monday, with temperatures in the high 50s for much of the state. The warmer weather will be accompanied by a chance of showers in the evening hours, along with winds gusting up to 45 mph.

Sunshine will return Tuesday, ahead of clouds and a chance of rain Wednesday. By Wednesday night, there will be a chance of rain and snow, which will clear during the overnight hours. After a mixture of clouds and sunshine and highs in the mid-50s Thursday and Friday, there will be a chance of showers Friday evening.
