Newport Dog Owners Must Renew Licenses This Month
Pet owners have until April 30 to renew dog licenses, which require up-to-date rabies certificates.
NEWPORT, RI — Pet owners in Newport have until the end of the month to renew their dog's license and ensure rabies vaccinations are up-to-date.
Yearly dog licenses must be obtained for all dogs aged six months and older, as required by state law. Proof of a valid rabies vaccination must be provided to complete the application.
Applications can be downloaded from the City Clerk's website and returned in-person at City Hall or mailed to City Clerk's Office, 43 Broadway, Newport, R.I. 02840.
