Newport Fugitive Captured: Cops
The Newport man was wanted in Massachusetts, police said.
NEWPORT, RI — A Newport fugitive was captured, police said.
Preston Schuster, 21, was arrested Tuesday by the Rhode Island State Police Adult Correctional Institutions Investigations Unit, the state police said in a media release.
Schuster was wanted as a fugitive from justice from the state of Massachusetts, according to the release.

"Mr. Schuster was arraigned in Third Division District Court, where he was remanded to the custody of the Sheriffs Department pending his return to Massachusetts," the release said.
