NEWPORT, RI — The Newport Jazz Festival unveiled its lineup for its 2023 festival, and it includes some legends.

From Aug. 4 to Aug. 6, the 69th annual Newport Jazz Festival will see Herbie Hancock, Jon Batiste, Thundercat and Joe's Russo's Almost Dead with Kamasi Washington hit the stage at Fort Adams State Park.

Other notable performers include Big Gigantic Diana Krall, Charles Lloyd, Vijay Iyer, Samara Joy, DOMi & JD Beck, Arooj Aftab, Big Freedia and DJ Pee.Wee (aka Anderson .Paak.)

Tickets go on sale at 1 p.m. Thursday and can be purchased online. The Newport Jazz Festival will offer specially priced tickets for all three days. Two-day and one-day passes can also be purchased.
