Newport Police Seeking Man In Connection With 'Shoplifting Incident'

NEWPORT, RI — The Newport police said they are on the lookout for a man in connection with a "shoplifting incident."

"The Newport Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying the individual in the attached photos in connection with a recent shoplifting incident," the department posted on its Facebook page.

The man in the photo is wearing a baseball cap and has a sweater tied around his neck. He appears to be clutching an item of apparel.
