Rainy Weekend But A Break Saturday: NWS
At least, there's no snow for most. And the National Weather Service predicts a sunny break on Saturday before the rain resumes overnight.

NEWPORT, RI—The National Weather Service predicts a soggy weekend for Rhode Island, with rain in the forecast every night. But the sun will peek out on Saturday, and the Saturday night rain is supposed to hold off until the overnight (around 3 a.m. Sunday morning).
Except for Woonsocket, which could collect a tiny bit of snow Saturday night, the prediction is primarily for rain. Narragansett could get a quarter of an inch Friday night and again during the overnight Saturday. Elsewhere, less than a tenth of an inch is in the forecast. But it will be foggy Friday night and again Sunday night.
The unusually high temperatures for February are expected to continue into Tuesday. Saturday will be the warmest day of the five-day stretch, with the mercury climbing near 60 in Woonsocket but cooler (in the low 50's) at the coast.
