See The February Performance Schedule For The Newport String Quartet

NEWPORT, RI — The Newport String Quartet will perform two concerts in Newport County in February.

Performances will be held in Newport and Jamestown. The concerts are produced in partnership with Music at Trinity and The Jamestown Arts Center and feature works by Joseph Bologne, Clarice Assad and Felix Mendelssohn.

The Newport String Project was founded in 2012. Its goal is to mentor youth musicians regardless of "generation, heritage, and economic circumstances" through free programs for ages 5 to 17.
