Teen Runaway from Newport Group Home Charged With Trafficking
Providence police arrested Isabel Reyes, 18, who allegedly was trafficking a 15-year-old girl from the same Newport group home.
NEWPORT, RI — Isabel Reyes, 18, faced a felony sex trafficking charge in Providence District Court on Monday. According to the judicial portal, no plea was entered in her case. The Providence Journal reported the victim is a 15-year-old, who also ran away from the same group home in Newport. Reyes and the 15-year-old were found in Providence, and Providence police pressed the charges.
