Tickets On Sale For 2022 Newport Flower Show

NEWPORT, RI — Tickets are now on sale for the 2022 Newport Flower Show, held at the historic Rosecliff mansion. The show will be held from June 17 to 19.

Unlike previous years, tickets will be limited to specific dates and blocks of time, and tickets must be purchased in advance.

This year's show is themed "Eden: A Personal Paradise." It will feature hundreds of floral arrangements from floral designers, horticulturists and botanical artists, displayed in the mansion's ballroom and salon, as well as the courtyard and ocean-facing terrace and lawn.

The show has been hosted by the Preservation Society of Newport County since 1996.

"The Newport Flower Show is growing back, step by step, from the COVID pandemic," said Trudy Coxe, the organization's CEO and executive director. "This year’s event will not include the lectures, demonstrations or champagne brunch of past Flower Shows, and the vendor marketplace will be smaller."

Coxe called the 2022 show a "step forward" after the show was canceled in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic, then scaled back in 2021.

"It will be fun to see how the 'Eden' theme comes to life in the hands of the very creative horticulturists and botanical artists who enter the show," Coxe continued.

All proceeds from the show will go towards maintenance and restoration work on the grounds of the Preservation Society of Newport County.
