• Sandra J. Bruno (pvdeye.org) — North Providence readers may recognize the Masciarelli family, as Sandra Bruno’s beloved sister Cheryl and her husband Steven live in town. Sandra, a Providence native and devoted caregiver who founded an inclusive Girl Scout troop and worked 25 years as a nurse’s aide, passed away December 6 at age 79. A funeral Mass is set for Thursday, December 11, at St. Ann Church in Providence.
