1. No stranger to the Ocean State, legendary singer-songwriter James Taylor and his All-Star Band will be performing at the Dunking Donuts Center on July 1. This will be the first time the performer has been back to Rhode Island since 2019. (What'sUpNewp)
2. On Saturday, a drive-by BB gun shooting almost took a women's eye out. The woman had just left a restaurant on Westminster when a vehicle drove by and she heard several loud pops. She told police she immediately felt pain next to her eye. Police said they observed a bump directly next to the victim’s eye; she was treated on the scene and released. (GoLocalProv)
3. The Pawtucket Police Department is recruiting entry level and seasoned officers. "As a reminder, the application period closes on today. This is your chance to apply, join our team, and help make a positive impact in the community." (Facebook)
