1. The Pawtucket Police Department will join Cranston and Woonsocket police in a 60-day trial program using automated license plate recognition cameras. Seventeen cameras provided by Flock Safety have already been installed on city-owned property in Pawtucket. (WPRI)
2. Rhode Island State Senator Gayle Goldin announced this week she is stepping down to serve the Biden Administration as Senior Advisor to the Department of Labor Women’s Bureau. A special election date has not yet been announced for her replacement in District 3. (GoLocalProv)

3. An Attleboro man was arrested this week on federal charges for using a credit card scheme to defraud Home Depot stores in three states of more than $600,000 in supplies. An accomplice from Providence was also arrested. (The Sun Chronicle)
4. Items from inside the Fantasyland Entertainment Center in Seekonk are officially up for online auction. Owner Antone Oliveira is selling the 16 acres of commercial property after the pandemic forced him to close. (WJAR)
5. Pawtucket Mayor Donald Grebien is "highlighting the continued importance of the arts to the city’s life and economy" ahead of the Pawtucket Arts Festival, which is set for September. It is considered the largest arts festival in New England. (Valley Breeze)
