  1. Last week, we shared with our readers the obituary for Jose Dos Reis of Pawtucket. David Linton of The Sun Chronicle reports Dos Reis died when the car he was in collided with a trash truck. His wife, who was driving at the time, was hospitalized following the wreck. (The Sun Chronicle)
  2. GoLocalProv reports Kelvin Colon of Pawtucket has been arrested and faces an assault charge after a couple was reportedly attacked while walking in Providence. The husband and wife told police the man was hit in the back of the head and repeatedly punched. When they ran, the attacker gave chase, even driving the wrong way before getting out and attacking the wife. (GoLocalProv)
  3. Cynthia Mendes, senator of District 18, which includes East Providence and Pawtucket, penned a community essay in The Public's Radio. In it, Mendes talks about what she learned — and what she lost — during the coronavirus pandemic. (The Public's Radio)
