  1. Who’s Hiring in and around Pawtucket? Are you looking for a new job? (Pawtucket Patch)
  2. There is a little relief at the pump in Rhode Island. According to a GasBuddy report, the current price for a gallon of gas in Providence is 20.9 cents higher than it was a month ago and $1.36 higher than a year ago. However, gas prices have fallen 7.9 cents over the past week making the average price per gallon $4.13. (WLNE-TV (ABC6))
  3. Marking the first event of the new Department of Environmental Management (DEM) initiative to get people out and enjoying the many and varied state parks and outdoor recreational areas in Rhode Island, the DEM invites residents of all ages and physical abilities to the National Walking Day on April 6. The event will be held at Lincoln Woods State Park from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. (Warwick Post)
  4. The fifth annual RI Black Film Fest starts Wednesday. The festival will host panels, roundtables workshops and author events through the platform of film. The festival runs over three days in two venues in Providence and Newport. (Providence Daily Dose)
