Claire L. Rancourt, 78: St. Joseph and St. Agatha Seniors Clubs Member
Woonsocket native, longtime Manville resident died May 7.

Claire L. Rancourt, 78, of Manville, died Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, according to Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home.
She was the loving wife of Paul R. Rancourt. They were married on Sept. 17, 1955.

Born in Woonsocket, Claire was a daughter of the late Joseph and Diana (Sarazin) Durand. She resided in Manville for over 50 years.
Claire was employed at Cadillac Textile and later in the office at the Holiday in Manville and the Manville Video.

She was a member of the St. Joseph and St. Agatha senior citizens clubs.
In addition to her husband of 57 years, she is survived by a son Ronald Rancourt of Greenville, two daughters Suzanne Beaulieu, and her husband Michael, of North Smithfield and Michelle Rizzo of Woonsocket.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, May 18 at 10 a.m. in St. Joan of Arc Church, Mendon Rd., Cumberland, Burial will be private. Visiting hours are omitted.
