Driver Arrested For Operating Under Influence of Unknown Substance
The following arrest information was provided by the Woonsocket Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Woonsocket Police Officer Jason Berhtelette was on Cumberland Hill Road March 18 at about 1:08 a.m. when the gold 2002 Pontiac sedan driven by Tori Fenoff, 19, of 153 Progresso Ave. with its headlights off caught his attention.
Berhtelette observed the Pontiac as it approached the Ho Kong restaurant toward the inner city sans headlights, pulling it over on Florence Drive, Berhtelette reported.

As he approached the vehicle to speak with the driver, Fenoff, Berhtelette said he could detect a strong odor of burnt marijuana coming from the car. She said she was on her way home from a friend's house, making a stop to drop off her passenger, according to Berhtelette's report.
During his talk with her, he said, Fenoff's eyes appeared extremely bloodshot and she seemed to have trouble concentrating on more than one task at a time. When Berhtelette asked her if she'd been drinking, she replied she'd had a shot and a beer, and had smoked marijuana about 30 minutes before being pulled over.

Fenoff consented to a sobriety test, passing the eye exam but failing the walk, using her arms for balance and failing to stay on the line, then swaying and hopping for the one-leg stand, according to the report.
She showed no alcohol in her blood during the portable breath test, however, leading Berhtelette to surmise it was the marijuana affecting her motor skills.
Fenoff was transported to Landmark Medical Center where her blood was drawn for more tests. She was transported to Woonsocket Police headquarters and charged with operating under the influence of drugs/alcohol, first offense.
