Driver Tells Police He Drank 'Too Much to be Driving'
The following arrest information was provided by the Woonsocket Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Woonsocket Police Officer Gabriel Koneczny suspected the driver of a green 1996 Ford of drinking too much after watching the car drift over the center line on North Main Street on March 22 at about 9:18 p.m. He didn't have to wait long to have his suspicions confirmed.
David Brin, 56, of 70 Blackstone St., had a strong odor of alcohol on his breath, according to Koneczy's report. Brin told Berthelette that he had had a long week and hadn't gone out all week. He told Berthelette he had drank rum and shots all night and had "...too much to be driving," according to the report.
Berthelette reported Brin refused sobriety tests, saying, "I know I have been drinking and shouldn't be driving. Why am I going to do the tests?" Berthelette arrested him and transported him to Woonsocket Police headquarters. Brin's car was towed by Ray's Towing of 135 Bellingham St.
