Rob Derosiers, principal at Globe Park Elementary School, was pretty happy with the Elks' recent donation of dictionaries for the school's third graders. The students were pretty happy with the development, too. A group of Globe Park third graders helped show off the new dictionaries, donated to all of Woonsocket's third graders, by posing for a quick photo opportunity during Math and Science Week March 4 - 8. Desrosiers said the Elks make the donation, about 400 dictionaries across the school district. every year. He said they appreciate the club's generosity very much.
