Fourth Arrest Made in String of Bomb Threats at Woonsocket High School

A fourteen-year-old girl is the latest arrest in the continuing investigation.

 

Woonsocket Police have arrested a 14-year-old girl in connection with the recent string of bomb threats at Woonosocket High School during the last two weeks.

Woonsocket Police announced this afternoon that the girl, a WHS student, was arrested and is being charged with making a bomb threat and conspiracy.

The girl joins fellow WHS students Khalil Oliver, 18, and two other juveniles, a 16-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl, who have also been charged with a count each of making a bomb threat in a public building and conspiracy, felonies, according to Public Information Officer Det. Jamie Paone.

Paone said police made the arrest after following leads from students over the past week.

The charges carry a possible 10-year sentence for each count. Paone said additional arrests in the case are expected.
