Friday Five: Passover, Bake Sale, Stadium, Free Tax Help

Thank God it's Friday, and check out these things to know:

 

Pre-Passover fun - On Sunday, March 24, at 10 a.m. Bring the kids and the grand-kids to Congregation B'nai Israel for some pre-Passover fun. They'll be baking macaroons and having fun with parts of the seder.

Craft Fair/Bake Sale - Leo A. Savoie Elementary School is having a Craft Fair & Bake Sale on Saturday March 23 from 10 am- 2 pm (990 Mendon Road). If you're not crafty, maybe you're hungry.

2013 Stadium brochure -  The updated 2013 season brochure for Stadium Theatre are available online.

FRCA VITA Program - Family Resources Community Action is providing FREE Income Tax Preparation forfamilies with incomes less than $51,000. All preparers are certified by the IRS, andE-filing is done for fast returns. Appointments are available at Family Resources Community Action, 245 Main St., on the following days:

Nixle - After the recent snowstorm the Woonsocket Police and Fire Department  want to send a reminder about Nixle.  During the snowstorm residents received a phone message with information from Nixle.  We are encouraging all residents and interested parties to sign up for Nixle’s OPT IN notification alerts.  You will be able to choose what messages you want to be informed of including emergency alerts, public safety updates, or community event information. You can receive Nixle messages on your cell phone, tablet, or other device.
