While Woonsocket locals enjoy the holidays, a few brave men and women are serving their country overseas and won't be able to visit with their families. The DVIDS (<a href="http://www.dvidshub.net/about#.UNiNTYnjmfs" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Defense Video Imagery Distribution System</a>), which connects   the media around the world with the military serving in Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait, Qatar and Bahrain, has released 5,944 video holiday greetings from soldiers abroad this year.
