Grand Jury Indicts Woonsocket Man on Child Molestation Charge
An indictment, information, or complaint is merely an allegation. The U.S. Constitution guarantees that a defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.

The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment Monday charging Jonathan Ortiz, 28 of 112 Coe St., Woonsocket, with one count of first degree child molestation and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
It is alleged that on or about dates between Sept. 1, 2011 and March 18, 2012, Ortiz molested a child under the age of 14, with the molestation being in the first degree. It is further alleged that Ortiz knowingly contributed to the delinquency of a minor.
