A 21-year-old Providence man who molested a child under 14 in Woonsocket last year has been indicted by the Providence County Grand Jury.Alan Jennings, of 160 Broad St., Providence, was charged with first-degree child molestation by Woonsocket police earlier this year.The state Attorney General, Peter F. Kilmartin, announced the indictment on Wednesday.The alleged crime took place between June 1 and Aug. 23 of 2014 and Woonsocket police handled the invstigation.Jennings is due to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on Dec. 9.Jennings is currently being held at the Adult Correctional Institutions in Cranston.
