State Trooper Log: Assault, Burglary and Suspended License Arrests

Troopers arrest city man in West Greenwich for skipping court on Woonsocket assault charge, Lincoln reckless driving charge  

At 2:50 p.m. May 14, Troopers arrested Ricky Caro, age 28, of 565 Rathbun Street, Woonsocket, RI, for 1.) Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Restitution Review on an original charge of Felony Assault out of the Woonsocket Police Department, 2.) 6th District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Ability to Pay on an original charge of Driving on a Suspended License out of the Woonsocket Police Department, 3.) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Reckless Driving/Eluding-Resisting Arrest out of the Lincoln Police Department, 4.) Obstructing a Police Officer in Execution of Duty and 5.) Driving with a Suspended License.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the Town of West Greenwich.  Caro was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution Center.

Troopers nab Providence man wanted on Woonsocket burglary charge, Providence suspended license charge

At 1:30 p.m. May 14, Troopers arrested Anthony Paul, age 23, of 241 North Brow St., East Providence, RI for 1.) Affidavit Arrest Warrant originating from the Woonsocket Police Department on the original charge of Burglary 2.) Sixth District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for the Ability to Pay on the original charge of Driving with a Suspended License originating from the Providence Police Department.

Paul was transported to State Police Headquarters where he was processed and later turned over to the Woonsocket Police Department.

Troopers arrest Woonsocket man for failing to appear on suspended license charge

On May 9, at 10:30 a.m., Troopers arrested Thomas Farrell, age 44 of 744 High Street, Cumberland, RI for Sixth District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Sentencing for Driving with a Suspended License originating out of the Woonsocket Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a commercial motor vehicle stop on Route 1 in the Town of South Kingstown. Farrell was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed and turned over to Sixth District Court.
