Tuesday Five: Stadium Season, Trash Fees, Nowell, Tax Prep
Welcome to Tuesday, Woonsocket - Here are some things to know:

2013 Stadium brochure - The updated 2013 season brochures for Stadium Theatre are on their way. Anyone on the mailing list should receive them within the next 10 days! Meanwhile, check it out online.
Trash service fees due today - Property owners are reminded that the third payment is due for their trash and recycling collection service by March 5. The fourth payment is due by May 3.
Late payments are subject to penalty fees. Current amounts due may be paid in full.

Per Ordinance 11-O-2 (revised and approved 2/11):
-No property serviced by the City for solid waste, recyclables and yard waste collectionshall be collected unless assessed Solid Waste fees for the property are current.
-No property serviced by the City for waste collection shall be issued a ‘Bulk Item’sticker or a ‘White Good’ sticker or a ‘Yard Waste’ sticker unless assessed Solid Wastefees for the property are current.

Nowell Academy Taking Applications - The First round of applications for the Nowell Academy are available for the 2013 - 2014 academic year and must be returned by March 15, 2013.

The Sheila C. “Skip” Nowell Leadership Academy Charter School is an ideal setting for pregnant and parenting teens or other students who find the traditional school setting unaccommodating. The Academy combines online studies with classroom work and is aimed specifically at students whose family responsibilities interfere with their attendance at high school. That includes teenagers who are pregnant or already parents, who are responsible for taking care of other family members, who are victims of domestic abuse or who lack family support.
FRCA VITA Program - Family Resources Community Action is providing FREE Income Tax Preparation forfamilies with incomes less than $51,000. All preparers are certified by the IRS, andE-filing is done for fast returns. Appointments are available at Family Resources Community Action, 245 Main St., on the following days:
- Mondays, Wednesdays & Thursdays: 12:30 to 4.30 p.m. Tuesdays: 4 to 6:30 p.m.
- Fridays: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- Saturdays: 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
