Woonsocket Police Arrest Man Taking Coins From Cars In Salvage Yard
The following arrest information was provided by the Woonsocket Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Woonsocket Police responded to Woonsocket Auto Salvage, 5 Madison Ave., for a breaking and entering report, finding Randy Plasse, 41, 214B Rockridge Dr., there with the owner, Leo LaFebvre.
LaFebvre told Officer Just in Mowry he was at the desk at the business and saw Plasse on one of the security cameras at about 10:30 p.m. Plasse appeared to be going through the scrapped vehicles, and called police.

Mowry said the gate to the yard didn't appear to have been tampered with, and Plasse appeared to have scaled the fence to get in.
Plasse had a large plastic bag on his person that was filled with coins. He told Mowry that he had entered the lot to take coins from the cars inside.

He was transported back to Woonsocket Police Headquarters, where he was charged with breaking and entering, a felony.
