Before joining Patch, Ashley Ludwig worked as a staff writer for the Valley News Newspaper in Southwest Riverside, covering both print and online editions. She co-founded the Southern California online magazine DailySoCal.com. She served as a freelance journalist for various publications, including the North County Times, San Diego Union-Tribune, and Southwest Riverside News Network (SWRNN.com), as well as articles and book reviews for the former Pages Magazine.

She owns the local Southern California Wine Country blog: Temecula Grapevine.com. Wife and mother of two daughters, she has written multiple romantic suspense novels, and chick-lit romances. Find them on Kindle and in print on Amazon.com.

A content creator and information architect since the late 1990s, Ludwig also project-managed multiple ad campaigns with Adwire for the entertainment industry, as well as worked with Books in Print, Bowker with the New York Times Bestseller Lists. She is a graduate of the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences.
