She completed a Master's Degree in Journalism at Quinnipiac University, and worked for Inside Edition with CBS, The Newark Star-Ledger, The Hartford Courant, and Brave New Films. Krystin later began a second Master's with John Jay College of Criminal Justice in International Crime and Justice before moving to Washington, DC for federal service.
