Steiner faces up to life in prison for the abduction with intent to defile charge and is scheduled to be sentenced on Jan. 26, 2024, according to the commonwealth’s attorney office.

Evidence and testimony presented at the latest trial showed that Steiner had attempted to sexually assault Guerrero during an argument on Sept. 26, 2020, according to prosecutors.

The argument escalated, culminating in Steiner duct-taping Guerrero to a pole in the basement of their home. Guerrero was later able to escape and call for help, prosecutors said.
