Idling Car Stolen from Driveway Wednesday Morning: Police
Don't leave your car running -- an idling vehicle was stolen Wednesday morning from a driveway in the Springfield area.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- Police say an idling car parked in a driveway was stolen early Wednesday.
The incident took place at Edsall Road and Clifton Street Wednesday at 6:04 a.m., police said. The victim’s vehicle was parked in a driveway while idling. The suspect entered the vehicle and drove to the 6800 block of Edsall Road after the vehicle became inoperable, police said.
The suspect then entered a second vehicle that was left idling in the parking lot and drove off, police said. Responding officers located the second vehicle in the 5600 block of Ashbury Court.

Caleb Bernstein, 32, of Massachusetts was arrested and charged with two counts of grand larceny of an automobile and possession of marijuana. The first vehicle was also recovered. Police say to please remember to keep your vehicles locked at all times when unoccupied.
