ALEXANDRIA, VA — A car flipped over onto its roof Monday morning in a two-vehicle crash on Franconia Road east of the Rose Hill area, according to the Fairfax County Police Department.

The crash occurred near the intersection of Franconia Road and Norton Road. After the crash around 9 a.m., police closed Franconia Road between Norton Road and Wilton Road to investigate the crash.

Minor injuries were reported in the crash, police said. By about 11:30 a.m. on Monday, the roadway had been cleared.
