17-Year-Old Suspects Charged In Kingstowne Shopping Center Shooting
Two 17-year-olds were arrested in connection with a shooting that took place last month in the Kingstowne Shopping Center, police said.

KINGSTOWNE, VA — Two teenagers were arrested in connection with a shooting that took place last month in the Kingstowne Shopping Center, according to the Fairfax County Police Department.
Shortly after 9:30 p.m. on Sept. 22, police officers responded to the 5900 block of Kingstowne Towne Center for the report of the sound of gunshots. Officers recovered multiple cartridge casings in the area. No one was injured from the gunfire.
Detectives from the FCPD’s Criminal Investigations Divisions determined that several juveniles were gathered in the area where the guns were fired. The detectives also used video footage and other evidence to identify two of the suspects.

Police obtained a search warrant for the 7600 block of Oakridge Woods Court in Lorton. During the search, two firearms were recovered at the residence, police said Tuesday.
The two 17-year-olds were taken into custody and brought to the Fairfax County Juvenile Detention Center, according to police.
