New Mediterranean Restaurant To Open at Landsdowne

Baytna Mediterranean Kitchen is currently undergoing construction for the opening by the end of July at the Landsdowne Centre in Kingstowne.

Leyla El-Khater, whose family owns Baytna, said the new restaurant will offer a "healthy choice of fast food."

Baytna, which means "our home" in Arabic, will serve fresh Mediterranean foods, including wraps, salads and grilled foods, explained El-Khater. The restaurant will also have a sandwich bar, a small seating area and will provide diners with the opportunity to customize their own meals.

El-Khater said the recipes that will be cooked at Baytna were handed down from generation to generation.
