Pedestrian In 'Life-Threatening Condition' After Crash In Springfield
A pedestrian was seriously injured after getting hit by a car Wednesday evening at an intersection on the Franconia-Springfield Parkway.

SPRINGFIELD, VA — A pedestrian was seriously injured in Springfield after getting hit by a car Wednesday evening at the intersection of the Franconia-Springfield Parkway and Springfield Village Drive, according to the Fairfax County Police Department.
Around 6 p.m. on Wednesday, officers arrived on the scene of the crash. The pedestrian, an adult male, was taken to the hospital in "life-threatening condition," police said.
The roads were closed to investigate the crash and then reopened around 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday night, according to police.
