Spin Pollo To Join Pair Of New Restaurants At Kingstowne Center

KINGSTOWNE, VA — There have been several restaurant openings on the radar at Kingstowne Towne Center, and they've all been next to each other. Spin Pollo is preparing to open next to the recently opened &pizza and Chopt.

Spin Pollo will be open at 5942 Kingstowne Center, Alexandria. This will be the second location for the Peruvian chicken restaurant; the other location is along Arlington Boulevard in Falls Church. No opening date has been announced yet for the Kingstowne location.

Spin Pollo specializes in Peruvian style charbroiled rotisserie chicken. The menu includes chicken combos with sides such as rice, beans, fries, yuca fries, plantains and salads. Other Peruvian specialties like lomo saltado and ceviche are also served.

Chopt Creative Salad Company opened two doors down in November. The fast casual chain specializes in salads and bowls.

The other recent opening was &pizza in between Chopt and the future Spin Pollo. This locally-based chain has specialty and build-your-own pizzas with locations around the DC region and Mid-Atlantic states. The Kingstowne location offers a pickup window next to the regular restaurant entrance.
