Zinburger Eyeing Opening Date at Springfield Town Center

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- Zinburger Wine & Burger Bar is eyeing the first week of May to open its first location in Northern Virginia, a spokesman for the company said Friday.

Menu highlights at Zinburger include gourmet burgers, hand-cut fries, sweet potato fries, zucchini fries, market salads, roasted chicken salad, as well as old-fashioned milkshakes and floats. See the full menu here. A full bar will offer cocktails, 21 wines by the glass and 17 localized beer selections with eight of these on tap.

The eatery, which is located on the upper level at Springfield Town Center, is looking to hire nearly 150 employees and is hosting a job fair Saturday through April 15. The restaurant's first location in Virginia was in Charlottesville. This will be its second location in the Commonwealth. You'll also find Zinburger in New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, Georgia and Florida.

The upscale burger restaurant will be hosting the job fair at 6795 Springfield Town Center, Springfield, VA 22150.

Nearly 150 positions are available including bartender, server, front desk host/hostess, busser, line cook, prep cook, dishwasher and meat grinder.

Job fair dates and times are:

• Saturday, April 2: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
• Sunday, April 3: 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
• Monday, April 4 - Friday, April 8: 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.
• Saturday, April 9: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
• Monday, April 11-Friday, April 15: 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.
