Black bean tostada pizza for the plant eating dino

Gator & chicken gumbo with broccoli spears for a trip back in time

Dino chicken nuggets, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, and Old Bay french fries

Caribbean jerk pork ribs for the carnivorous with red beans & rice, sweet fried plantains

S’mores (because who doesn't love s’mores?)

Dino Spine and Triceratops cupcakes and fossil cookies

Unique displays that included an alligator and a Boar’s head skull were surrounded by tropical fruits such as papaya and dragon fruit.

The gumbo was a hit, but the most popular item of the night had to be dino nuggets. Several students messaged ahead of the event asking if Dino Nuggets would be served.

Students were enticed with a fun tabling decorated like the Jurassic Park entrance, featuring a Spin the Wheel for a chance to win small prizes like a dino squishy, pop-it, sticker, plastic toy, or candy bracelet.

Lastly, dino wranglers were recruited for a dinosaur scavenger hunt. Students scanned a QR code to be taken on a wild safari around the dining center and find hidden dinosaurs. The first ten students to complete the scavenger hunt received an inflatable dinosaur.

A number of students came dressed in theme - from Jurassic Park tee-shirts to inflatable dinosaur costumes.
