Liberty University Dining Hosts Prime Rib Pop-Up for Valentine's Day
The exclusive event featured a three-course menu, and the response overwhelming with a total of 123 reservations
Liberty University Dining by Sodexo celebrated Valentine's Day eve with a spectacular Prime Rib Dinner Pop-Up Restaurant, transforming the lofted seating area in the Tilley Student Center into a romantic haven adorned with pink, red, and white hearts and ambient string lights.
The exclusive reservation-only event featured a three-course menu, including a refreshing house salad, succulent prime rib paired with green beans, baked potato, and a dinner roll, and a sweet finale with cheesecake, with a choice of strawberry or chocolate topping.
The response was overwhelming, with a total of 123 reservations for the evening. Attendees had the option to pay with a meal swipe plus $10 or $17.25. The inclusion of meal tenders as a payment option made this premium dining experience affordable for students.

Todd Reynolds, General Manager of Retail, expressed his excitement for the event, drawing inspiration from his past experiences. Reynolds stated, "My main motivation was to give the students an opportunity to have a nice, upscale served dinner to celebrate the holiday with their friends or significant other. I hope the students loved the food, fellowship, and decor created around this event."
The Tilley Student Center was transformed into a romantic setting with tablecloths, red carnation centerpieces, and specially printed menus. The event welcomed students dining together as well as faculty members.

Guests were also given the opportunity to provide feedback through a QR code on the menus, linking them to an anonymous survey. The responses were overwhelmingly positive, with quotes such as:
