Spiced Up Campus Eats: Liberty Dining's Indian Food Pop-up

Liberty Dining, with Monsoon Kitchens Inc., treated students at the Reber-Thomas Dining Center to a flavorful journey through Indian cuisine

On Wednesday, April 10, Liberty Dining, in collaboration with Monsoon Kitchens Inc., treated students at the Reber-Thomas Dining Center to a flavorful journey through Indian cuisine. Chef Srinivas (Srini) Ramchandran from Monsoon Kitchens dazzled taste buds with a special menu featuring classic Indian dishes.

The absence of an Indian food station at the dining center made this pop-up event particularly exciting, drawing eager crowds with the aroma of tikki masala and the promise of culinary adventure. Among the dishes served were chicken tikka masala paired with fragrant Basmati rice and vegetable samosas with cilantro chutney.

Monsoon Kitchens Inc., a brand under CORE Foodservice, has become a welcome guest at Liberty Dining, adding variety and cultural richness to the dining experience.
