The event will raise money for scholarships and programs which strengthen the regional economy and foster kindness

The Carlsbad Chamber Community Foundation’s annual fundraiser, An Evening at the Kingdom, will be from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 8 at TaylorMade’s exclusive The Kingdom, 2155 Salk Ave, Carlsbad.

The “Almost a Gala” event, presented by Premier Chevrolet, will feature a closest to the pin and putting contests, a marshmallow drive and a “Prohibition” bottle pull. Guests will enjoy a delicious, catered dinner from Senor Grubby’s along with margaritas, craft beer and wine. A live band will provide music for guests to dance the night away, and there will be a raffle with spectacular prizes.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Foundation’s impactful programs which shape the local workforce, recognize student achievement and foster a culture of kindness. These include scholarships for deserving high school seniors through Rising Star, the Future CEO program which helps build tomorrow’s leaders, SOCAL Workforce which strengthens the regional economy and supporting the Kindness Certified Companies program.
