'Carlsbad Good Ride' Offers Visitors Free Rides Around The City
The free service is designed to get visitors from their hotels and rentals to key destinations within the city.

CARLSBAD, CA — Carlsbad visitors can now get free rides to the city's most popular destinations.
Visit Carlsbad, a marketing organization for the city, recently launched Carlsbad Good Ride, a free transportation program in partnership with Circuit, an on-demand electric car service. The service is designed to get visitors from their hotels and rentals to key destinations within the city, including attractions such as Legoland California, the beach, Carlsbad Village, and restaurants and retailers.
"Carlsbad is 39 square miles with lodging properties spread throughout the community, so there is a need for easy and accessible transportation for our overnight guests," said Kim Sidoriak, president and CEO of Visit Carlsbad.

"Carlsbad Good Ride will simplify the vacation experience and make travel around Carlsbad even easier and more enjoyable for our visitors, allowing them to avoid rental cars and the search for parking," Sidoriak said. "Furthermore, we're pleased this partnership with Circuit supports our promise to promote and encourage an eco-conscious lifestyle for which our city is known."
The transportation service is available from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday through March 31. Beginning in April, the service will expand to 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
