Once again, Carlsbad Hi-Noon Rotary Club (CHNR) is the largest scholarship donor for Carlsbad students.

To raise those distributed scholarship funds, Carlsbad Hi-Noon Rotary completed the Fourth Annual Scholarship Raffle by raising $45,000 for scholarships. Raffle Chair JoAnn Ross remarked “I am so thankful to all who helped this raffle be successful. Special appreciation goes to all those who bought and sponsored tickets for this raffle. It makes a difference in so many lives.”

Raffle prize recipients were drawn at a recent CHNR meeting with prizes distributed to: Leslie Brubaker of Carlsbad, Jeff Weber of Escondido, Will Stonebrook of Carlsbad and Vicki Prosser of Oceanside.

For the past 28 years, CHNR has provided hundreds of thousands of dollars in college scholarships. The March/April 2025 Scholarship Raffle raised funds and expanded the scholarship offerings to include trade and technical schools as well.

Scholarship Chairman Christian Chapman and his committee read and analyzed applications and then interviewed students. The awards were presented to the following students:
