Cement Truck Overturns, Prompts SigAlert On I-5 In Carlsbad
Authorities issued a SigAlert for the area.

CARLSBAD, CA — A cement truck overturned Tuesday afternoon on Interstate 5 in San Diego's North County.
The truck overturned just before the Tamarack Avenue exit on northbound I-5 in Carlsbad, according to the CHP's incident log. The crash was first reported at 1:36 p.m.
The northbound lanes of I-5 were closed between Cannon Road and Tamarack Avenue, Carlsbad police said. Authorities issued a SigAlert for the area.

The CHP was working to clear the roadway, police said on Twitter.
"It will likely take a while," police said. "Expect significant congestion and consider an alternate route."
