DUI Checkpoint Scheduled This Weekend In North County

SAN MARCOS, CA — A DUI checkpoint is scheduled this weekend in northern San Diego County.
The checkpoint is slated from 6 p.m. Saturday to 2 a.m. Sunday at an undisclosed location in the city of San Marcos, according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Office. During the checkpoint, authorities will look for signs that drivers are under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
DUI checkpoint locations are determined based on data showing incidents of impaired driving-related crashes, according to the sheriff's office.
