Earthquake Felt In North Bay Monday Morning

It was reported being felt by several people in Middletown, about 9 miles from where the quake struck, according to authorities.

HEALDSBURG, CA — A magnitude 2.9 earthquake struck Northern California north of Healdsburg on Monday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The quake hit just northeast of Mercuryville, about 1.5 miles southeast of The Geysers, at 7:19 a.m., and was reported being felt by several people in Middletown, about 9 miles from where the quake struck, according to the survey.
