Foodies: Sonoma Co. Harvest Fair Tickets On Sale

Get tickets to taste a plethora of culinary delights and world-class wine in Santa Rosa for the Harvest Fair slated for early October.

SANTA ROSA, Ca. -- Farm-to-table foodies rejoice -- the region that invented the word harvest has released tickets to celebrate its 44th annual fair at the Sonoma County fairgrounds, where more than 100 regional wineries bring out their best varietals of 300-plus wines next month.

Craft beer, tangy cider, chef-prepared dishes, a gold award-winning marketplace showcase and a whole slew of activities such as "pumpkin bowling" and "apple slingshotting" will also be on tap for this monumental fall celebration set for Oct. 5-7. The Tasting Pavillion opens at 4 p.m. on the first day.

"We would consider this to be one of the big (wine festivals)," said Shelby Lozinto of Hanna Winery, one of the participating vendors for over two decades. The award-winning winery uses this event "to attract more local business" and beef up its millennial demographic.
