Magnitude 4 Earthquake Lightly Shakes NE Sonoma County
The quake was detected shortly after 7 a.m. south of the Sonoma-Mendocino county line.
HEALDSBURG, CA — A magnitude 4 earthquake struck northeast Sonoma County on Friday morning, with an epicenter located about 15 miles north of Healdsburg, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The quake was detected at 7:14 a.m. and initially rated a 3.8 magnitude temblor. Residents living close to the epicenter reported light to moderate shaking, according to the USGS website. There were no immediate reports of damage.
