Passenger Loses Arm In Suspected Marijuana DUI Crash Near Graton

A Forestville man arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence of marijuana has since been released from Sonoma County jail.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA — A Forestville man who was arrested for an alleged drug-related DUI crash Monday that critically injured his passenger was released from the Sonoma County Jail on Wednesday. The Sonoma County District Attorney's Office is waiting for the California Highway Patrol to finish its investigation of the solo-vehicle crash on Mill Station Road south of Occidental Road near Graton.

Chief Deputy District Attorney Brian Staebell said the driver, Thomas Henney, 21, is scheduled to return to Sonoma County Superior Court on Feb. 28 when charges will be filed or the case will be discharged.

Henney was driving a Buick LeSabre around 1:40 p.m. when it struck an embankment, overturned and landed on its wheels. A passenger in the Buick, Amanda Odeen, 18, of Sebastopol, was partially ejected from the vehicle.
