Man Accused Of Killing 2 At Cobb County Apartment Near 6 Flags Arrested: Report

A man accused of killing a mother, a man and injuring another woman in a Cobb County apartment has been arrested.

COBB COUNTY, GA — A man accused of shooting and killing two people, and injuring a third at a Cobb County apartment has been arrested, WSB-TV reported.

Lester Piercefield was taken into custody Tuesday in a collaborative effort with the Cobb County police, Paulding County Sheriff’s deputies and U.S. Marshall Fugitive Task Force. Piercefield is accused of killing a 24-year-old mother of three, identified as Lena Wolfe. The Premier Apartments shooting in Austell happened Monday morning near Six Flags off Riverside Parkway and Factory Shoals Road.

Another victim, Jeremy Davis, was also shot and killed. Yolanda Spiller survived the shooting.

According to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Spiller is the only witness. Cobb police spokeswoman Shenise Barner told the AJC that they don’t know any motive yet.

The mother who was shot and killed left behind three children, including a 5-month-old baby. Friends and family gathered Tuesday to collect diapers, clothes and food.
